C6 STAGE 1- THE C6 STAGE 1 IS BUILT FOR ENGINES PRODUCING UP TO 400 HORSEPOWER. IT IS PERFECT FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE STREET APPLICATIONS AS WELL AS HEAVY DUTY TOWING AND/OR COMMERCIAL USE.
FOR AN ADDITIONAL COST, IT MAY BE ORDERED WITH THE E4OD WIDE RATIO GEAR SET FOR A BRUTAL INCREASE IN VEHICLE ACCELERATION BY PROVIDING MORE LOW END TORQUE MULTIPLICATION.

C6 STAGE 3- THE C6 STAGE 3 IS A PRO STREET AND DRAGSTRIP BUILT FOR ENGINES PRODUCING UP TO 1000 HP. FOR AN ADDITIONAL COST IT MAY BE ORDERED WITH THE E4OD WIDE RATIO GEAR SET FOR A BRUTAL INCREASE IN VEHICLE ACCELERATION BY PROVIDING MORE LOW END TORQUE MULTIPLICATION.
INTERNAL COMPONENTS AND FEATURES: REBUILT FRONT PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH NEW GEARS AND MODIFIED LUBE CIRCUITRY. NEW 300M SEVERE DUTY INPUT SHAFT. CUSTOM STEEL BILLET FORWARD DRUM ASSEMBLY WITH EIGHT STEEL CORE RED RACING FRICTIONS. THESE "STEEL CORE" RACING FRICTIONS PUT AN END TO INTERNAL SPLINE CLUTCH STRIPPING FAILURES COMMON TO A C6 TRANSMISSION. THE EIGHT FRICTION PACK DOUBLES CLUTCH PACK DISK COUNT BY ADDING FOUR ADDITIONAL FRICTIONS TO THE PACK VERSES THE FACTORY INSTALLED FOUR FRICTIONS. DIRECT CLUTCH IS ASSEMBLED WITH EIGHT RED RACING FRICTIONS AND KOLENE STEELS, AND SPECIAL CLUTCH APPLY/RELEASE SPRINGS TO ELIMINATE CLUTCH DRAG AT HIGH RPM. THE EIGHT FRICTION PACK MORE THAN DOUBLES CLUTCH PACK DISK COUNT BY ADDING FIVE ADDITIONAL FRICTIONS TO THE PACK VERSES THE FACTORY INSTALLED THREE FRICTIONS. LOW REVERSE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY IS OUTFITTED WITH SEVEN RED RACING FRICTIONS AND ONE PIECE E4OD LOW ROLLER CLUTCH ASSEMBLY. INTERMEDIATE BAND IS THE "RIDGID STYLE" DESIGN WITH SPECIAL RED LINING AND IS ACTIVATED BY A NEW BILLET INTERMEDIATE SERVO ASSEMBLY AND HIGH RATIO BAND LEVER. NEW HEAVY DUTY HEAT TREATED SUN SHELL. FRONT PLANET, REAR PLANET, FORWARD CLUTCH HUB, REAR RING GEAR, AND CASE ARE CUSTOM MACHINED AND OUTFITTED WITH HIGH CAPACITY NEEDLE BEARING ASSEMBLIES. THESE BEARINGS ELIMINATE THE FAILURE PRONE FACTORY STYLE THRUST WASHERS, WHICH ARE INADEQUATE FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE USAGE. THESE NEEDLE BEARINGS REDUCE INTERNAL FRICTION AND HORSEPOWER LOSS CONSUMED DURING NORMAL INTERNAL COMPONENT ROTATION AND INCREASE LOAD BEARING CAPCITY
AND THRUSTING SURFACES. THE RESULTS ARE REDUCED OPERATING TEPERATURE AND LOWER ELAPSED TIMES.
