This steel billet clutch hub is recommended for GM TH400 transmission applications behind engines producing up to 1000 horsepower/850 foot pounds of torque. The hub is fitted with a high capacity thrust bearing assembly that reduces internal friction, and stops direct clutch housing float which can result in clutch housing and center support wear as well as direct clutch failure. Installs with no other modifications.
