This extreme duty clutch hub is manufactured from proprietary super alloy steel billet blanks for GM TH400 transmission applications behind engines producing up to 2000 horsepower/1800 foot pounds of torque. The hub is fitted with a high capacity thrust bearing assembly that reduces internal friction and stops direct clutch housing float which can result in clutch housing and center support wear as well as direct clutch failure. Hub features 360 degree oiling to the forward clutch pack assembly due to additional lube oil holes. Installs with no other modifications.
